This item is really for someone who can restore it, there is some damage. The wood has had nothing done to it, the black paint is thin and missing in places. I have tried to cove as much of the negative point reguarding this item in the photos as I could. The blue lining is still stuck to the inside of the box, it is tatty and quite fluffy in places. The box does still have the twist knobs that would probably hold the bows in place. There is a large fitting in the middle of the case that i think when twisted it holds the violins in place and stops them moving around. The instruments are not in a playable condition, one was made in China and has no makers name in it. The violin with the chin rest is made by Stentor music company and looks to be a Stentor Student. There is some damage to the hinges plus there is some signs where the wood has broken away from the edge of the case.
